Fallen Hero

We honor still

Always remembered

Reaching for the grail

Protector of the lives residing

Keeping watch with Jesus tiding

Once more we lift His name on high

Raising His banner to the sky

Hear the sound of reveille

Awakened to eternal victory

No longer fallen

But raised with Christ

Who made the supreme sacrifice

Forever kept on the roll

Angel reading from the scroll

Yes, soldier here!

Dressed in valor

Shining forth with pipe and tabor

Glistening white in heaven’s light

Soldier at rest

In the Lord’s glorious sight
